Trick to becoming your ideal person- Process of Elimination!

Ever look back at your journey and wonder, “Wow! I’ve made a lot of mistakes!”? Well, I do it everyday. No, seriously! I do it every single day. I think about them and cringe, and then I try to push the thought out of my mind, and then I curse myself for thinking about it in the first place.
However, over the years, I have come to realize that had I not made those mistakes I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Now, this might sound like a cliché but think about it, that boyfriend I shouldn’t have dated, those friends I shouldn’t have trusted, that exam I should have studied for more intently, those relationships I chose to let go, those depressing days I should have worked harder to turn around- have all helped me become the version of myself I am today – for better or for worse.
So, if someone were to ask me whether I regret any of my decisions I would unequivocally say – NO! These so-called blunders of my life have given me so much more than what they might have taken away from me. They have awarded me with the understanding of what I SHOULDN’T do as opposed to what I should do. I have almost inadvertently, by process of elimination, molded myself to not become one of those people that I absolutely hate.
